The Acoustics Research Centre of the University of Salford and the Acoustics Group of the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering are organising the upcoming Quiet Drones 2026 conference. The conference will take place at TU Delft, in The Netherlands

Some key dates are:
- Abstract submission deadline: 1st December 2025
- Paper submission deadline: 15th June 2026
- Early registration deadline: 15th May 2026
Building upon the successful Quiet Drones conferences in 2020, 2022 and 2024, we are working hard in putting together a strong technical programme and interesting social events. The technical programme, including keynotes, technical sessions and panel discussions will be communicated by early 2026.
Call for Abstracts
You are encouraged to submit a 1-page abstract before the deadline of 1st December 2026 on any of the conference topics to be found here.
In order to submit an abstract please create an account on the QD2026 submission and registration site.
Template
A Word QD2026 template is provided for your convenience. This template is already set with the correct page size, fonts, line spacing and margins.
Please convert your QD2026 abstract to a PDF file. Be sure to embed the fonts when creating the PDF.
- DO NOT password protect your file.
- Make sure the filename has only one extension (“.pdf”)

Review
After peer reviewing you will receive the authors notification on 19th January 2026, and the invitation to submit a full paper (information will follow).
Guidelines for presentations
Each paper presentation will be given 20 minutes – this will include: introduction and Q&As.
